Foochow Special stall, BDC

Theres a stall in BDC at the "Three Food Cafe" which is a hidden gem. The stall is behind Everrise supermarket

Make your way to this one for authentic Foochow food in Kuching. I'm guessing the owner is from Sibu, the ancestral home of the foochow chinese because his noodles are very good

The stand out dish for me was the mee sua, a delicate combination of light chicken broth, tender chicken , a boiled egg and fine noodles. At only RM4 if i remember correctly, this dish might have come out of a 5 star restaurant as the flavours work well with each other.

The other noodles, the simple but tasty kampua mee was also priced around RM4 . The boiled noodles, mixed with lard is a great snack. However the kampua mee was a bit dry that day.

I'd go to this stall for the meesua. Overall due to the authentic taste and cheap pricing i give Foochow special a 7/10.

Breakfast at Gim's burger Kuching

Gim's burger is a popular burger joint in Tabuan, Kuching near lodge school. The decor is nice and rustic however the floors were a bit sticky that day

The eggs n franks was frankly confusing. I didn't quite like the taste. The toasted bread was ok but the oven baked eggs and franks just didn't work for me

The pancakes were ok.

Overall i was quite dissapointed with the quality of food and it was a bit pricey. I guess i much prefer their burgers. 3/10
